Northern Iowa returns to the road Saturday to face Southern Illinois at Saluki Stadium, where the Panthers will be the opponent for the Salukis’ annual Blackout Cancer game. Kickoff is set for 1:02 p.m.

The Panthers are coming off a 35-22 loss at Youngstown State, where quarterback Jaxon Dailey threw for 318 yards and three touchdowns.

Now in its 15th year, the Blackout Cancer game has SIU players wearing black jerseys bearing the names of fans’ loved ones. Proceeds benefit the Coach Kill Cancer Fund, which helps southern Illinois patients cover the cost of care and travel to treatment.
